Operators offer a great choice of price plans to match various needs. That's why GSM Arab World has created an interactive search engine that will help you to compare operators’ prices and check the best one. The prices refer only to consumers profiles, not business ones.

Several online initiatives already exist. However, this website goes a step further in providing a pan-Arab comparison tool and a one-stop-shop source for Arab-wide information.

The search results will display prices for prepaid and postpaid schemes for:

• a call back to the customer’s home country to a fixed line;
• sending an SMS back home;
• a local call to a fixed line;
• sending an SMS locally;
• receiving a call;
• receiving an SMS.

Prices include applicable local taxes and reflect rates from mobile network operators active in the countries of the Arab region.

GSM Arab World is the interest group of the GSM Association in the Arab region, (the premier global body behind the world's leading wireless communications standard).

In 2006, GSM Arab World introduced its Code of Conduct for Information on International Roaming Retail Prices. This voluntary Code of Conduct for operators in the Arab region was developed to give mobile phone customers clear and understandable information about prices for roaming. The operators who signed up to this Code of Conduct are responding to the demand in the Arab region for greater transparency in international retail roaming prices.
